ArcelorMittal Europe has once again significantly increased its sheet metal quotation this week, raising the quotation for hot-rolled coils by 20 euros/ton ($24.24/ton) and for cold-rolled and hot-dip galvanized coils by 20 euros/ton to 1050 euros/ton, marking the second increase this week. Sources revealed that the market immediately followed up with a new quotation.

In the past few months, due to the continued shortage of raw materials, steel mills across Europe, including ArcelorMittal, have also quickly absorbed the wave of price increases. There is no doubt that this round of price increases is unprecedented, but the recent rate of price increases is gradually slowing down.
